古里电站是世界第四大水电站，本次改造包括1至3号机单机容量由原185兆瓦增容至300兆瓦，4至6号机由原270兆瓦增容至400兆瓦，合同范围包括整个机组更新、厂房电站机电设备成套，机组拆卸、安装调试。原机组由日本日立公司制造。本次改造项目是由泛美开发银行提供贷款，采用国际公开招标的方式，市场竞争异常激烈，国际上著名水电制造公司纷纷参与竞标。这也是中资企业在国外首次通过公开竞标获得的最大电站改造项目。（戴宏）
